Private Appointments Physiotherapy Mundaring

Physiotherapists are Primary Contact Health Care Providers so you do not need a Doctor's referral to either make an appointment or claim the private health fund rebate. Our HICAPS facility allows you to claim your Ancillary Benefits refund on the same day. You will only need to pay the gap at each consultation. The amount of the gap depends on the level of your cover.

Our Fees


Mundaring Physiotherapy Clinic allocates a double appointment of 40 minutes for your Initial consultation. This includes a detailed examination, treatment and discussion of the treatment plan. Our physiotherapist's will provide advanced assessments and discuss a treatment plan for your individual needs. This often includes strengthening and stretching exercises, clinical Pilates programmes, hands on physiotherapy treatments, dry needling, education, deep tissue massage and postural and balance advice. Exercise Physiology is available with Sarah Lawrence.

Workers Compensation Insurance Appointments


You will need a referral from your General Practitioner to be covered by a Workers Compensation Claim. When your claim is accepted and you have given us your claim number we will bill the insurance company directly. This means your fees are fully covered.


We regret that we do not currently have capacity to accept NEW worker's compensation clients.


Non attendance fees are not paid by the insurance company. So if you miss an appointment without giving us notice of cancellation, you may be billed, personally.


Department of Veteran's Affairs Appointments


If you are a Veterans Affairs patient you will need to have a referral from your General Practitioner before you make an appointment with us. We are happy to treat you for your condition. You will need your referral and your DVA card on the day of your first visit. Your treatment fee is fully covered by the DVA

Medicare Subsidised Appointments for Physiotherapy Mundaring


Our Clinic treats Chronic Disease Management patients. Your General Practitioner will decide your eligibility for physiotherapy treatment under this program and give you a referral for physiotherapy. We can offer you a same day rebate with HICAPS, using your medicare card.


Motor Vehicle Accident Appointments


You will need a referral from your General Practitioner to claim your treatment from the relevant insurance company. We will send the account for your treatment directly to the insurance company once you have provided us with your claim number. The insurance companies do not reimburse for any non-attendance fees


"Our Rules"


When you fill out your patient form on your first visit you will be asked to read and sign the section "Patient Declaration". This section explains that if you don't attend your appointment or you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, you may be charged a fee. The appointment you don't attend could be used for someone else, if we have been given time to fill it, so thank you for giving us 24 hours notice of cancellation.
